@alanmckay7040 Russia is in Ukraine to steal Ukrainian land and resources and and try to control the countries politics. As far as Russia is concerned any smaller country in their region is a vassal state of Russia and will do what they're told or get destroyed. They have demonstrated this policy since the fall of the Soviet Union with two wars against Chechnya,attacked Georgia in 2008 and now Ukraine
