  2. Admitting defeat is throwing up your hands and giving the Russians whatever they want and that hasn't happened. This war was always going to end with a negotiated peace and by fighting the Russians to a stalemate it gives Ukraine more leverage in negotiations.

  13. The Ukrainian needed to fight this war to get some leverage in any dealings with Russia. Russia will think twice before they invade Ukraine again no matter how much they beat their chests they got a bloody nose that they weren't expecting

  16.  @evilmex1962  they have their own artillery and drones to counter russian artillery and blowing up the tanks prevents the Russians advancing and also killls three people in each tank and costs Russia money. The war is attritional and destroying the tanks and their crews is part of it
