  7. @dimitriskouris7949  the mercenaries are only a few thousand men and as for NATO they haven't sent any large formations of troops and only a small amount of their available firepower and a lot of it was old stock. The Russians are getting help from North Korea, Iran and China Making out Russia is facing ALL of NATO is laughable if NATO went in with all it's power Russia would have left Ukrainian territory a long time ago

  8. @romeolarenzo3929  the Taliban had small arms and RPG they also had IED which could destroy the heaviest armoured vehicles. The main weapon they had was time and the ability to hide in the civilian population where the US couldn't use their high tech weapons. They avoided major confrontations and basically waited the US out and they do it with everyone who goes to Afghanistan. The Taliban knew if they confronted the Americans in open battle they would have been slaughtered. It's ironic that now the Taliban are the conventional forces in Afghanistan and are getting attacked by Isis and Al Qaeda and they're struggling to deal with it. The fact that you can't see the difference between fighting a conventional war and an insurgency shows who little you actually understand about the subject matter. The US have no problems fighting conventional battles but they struggle with insurgencies and so does every other big powerful country
