  1. Avdiivka looks doomed it will probably be lost in 6-8 weeks. It all depends on what reinforcements Ukraine can send but these attritional battles always favour Russia

  2. It depends on what resources Ukraine has to bolster their defences. Artillery would help them a lot but they're not getting any supplies from the US which is going to hurt them.
