  1. ​ @maratibragimov338 bullshit the American units that were taken by suprise in the initial attack were over run but once the US army realized what was happening they fought hard and the Germans started taking heavy losses and fell behind schedule with the US 101st Airborne fighting hard at Bastogne. The Germans started running out of fuel because they never had enough to start with they planned to resupply by using captured allied fuel. In the end the weather cleared and allied airpower broke them and the offensive was over. The Germans admitted the resistance was tougher than they were expecting and the British didn't take heavy casualties in the battle

  3. The problem for the Russians is their attacking across open ground the tanks can be smashed by anti armour weapons then the infantry can be mopped up by artillery firing cluster munitions.
