  2. The problem for Ukraine is Russia keeps taking ground slowly they don't care about the casualties. Ukraine doesn't have the ability to get forward and take back ground they're stuck in a grinding battle of attrition which favours Russia because they have a bigger population. At some point Ukraine is going to have to transition to an insurgency which will reduce casualties and will be easier and cheaper to supply. An insurgency will last at least 10 years but Ukraine doesn't have any choice based on how things are looking at the moment
