Russia has spent so much of their funding on fancy weapon systems like hypersonics and neglected the foundation of their military which is a well organised ground force with good logistics.

The Russians said yesterday that the war could stop at any moment. All the Ukrainians need to do is stop fighting,give up Crimea and eastern Ukraine and agree to not join NATO or the EU and they will be able to live freely. The EU is an economic organisation not a military one so it makes a mockery of the people who say all Ukraine had to do is agree to not join NATO

@aurangzebkhan3620 it makes a big difference the soldiers in Iraq were facing an insurgency with people in civilian clothes they had no idea who was friend or foe they couldn't trust anyone so you generally wouldn't see them having friendly conversations like in this video

@aurangzebkhan3620 yes Ukraine is a smaller nation and people generally always support the underdog so people will back them.. In the Vietnam war a lot of people supported the North Vietnamese people hated that war and saw it as unjust. The Iraq war was very unpopular the world protested against it including the western world the public took to the streets in big numbers but it happened anyway.

@aurangzebkhan3620 in Afghanistan the soldiers were sent their after the 9/11 attacks so the context of the war was totally different to what we are seeing with the invasion of Ukraine.

@aurangzebkhan3620 once the US was in Afghanistan they were there for the long haul it turned into a nation building exercise trying to build up the Afghan army so they could hold the country when the US left so spending 3 trillion over 20 years isn't hard to do and ultimately the effort failed. Ethic groups all over the world favour their own that's human nature we are very tribal doesn't make it right buys that's the way the world is.

@aurangzebkhan3620 Afghanistan wasn't destroyed by the west they had no infrastructure when the west went there Afghanistan was destroyed by the Russian invasion in 1979. Syria was a tragic I have seen the footage of what was done there and those cities were destroyed by the Russians and Assad. The west did very little in Syria Obama who was in charge at that time didn't want to get involved in another major land war. In a war every one portrays themselves as being on the right side. There is a saying one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter and you can reverse that to one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist it just depends on what side your on.

@aurangzebkhan3620 In Afghanistan they didn't flatten Kabul or Khandahar like the Russians did in Aleppo or in the Ukraine. War certainly has no ethics it's a meat grinder. The US looked to train anti Assad forces but in the end barely trained 100 men it was a failure the anti Assad forces asked for anti aircraft missiles but the US wouldn't give them because they didn't know what side a lot of the people were on there were so many different factions. The US didn't want to commit large numbers of troops to Syria after the invasion of Iraq the US public didn't support it they didn't send tanks,stinger missiles, javelins to Syria. The Russians were in Syria and the US didn't want to go in with full force and end up in a shooting war with Russia so they did nothing while the cities were bombed to ruin. The Syrian people were left to their fate. The media are nothing but tools they will always spin the narrative they are told to spin.

@aurangzebkhan3620 in Syria the people rose up against Assad and his army was losing and the Russians went in and saved him. It was the Russians and Assad who were laying waste to Aleppo with barrell Bombs. The US bombed Assad's airfields when trump was in power. If the US put ground forces into Ukraine and ended up fighting the Russians it would be world war three and could end up in a nuclear war which no one would survive every human and animal on this earth would die no where would be safe.
