@ИванЛарзалев The US has extended range 227mm rockets going into service which gave increased range to 150km plus the ground launched small diameter bomb which has 150km range. They have also developed the precision strike missile to replace the ATACM which goes faster and has a range of at least 600KM. The HIMARS platform isn't new but the system is constantly upgraded. The Abrams has also been constantly upgraded and it does the job as well as any tank in the world. The US does have laser systems and they're operational.

@cr3292 the US didn't lose in Iraq Saddam was overthrown,a new government was put in place that's still standing to this day and the insurgency was defeated when the US got the Iraqi to stop backing Al Qaeda in Iraqi. The Afghanistan war finished like every war when someone invades that country the Taliban hid in the civilian population avoiding major battles and just doing hit and run attacks while using time as a weapon waiting till their opponent gets sick of it and leaves. No one wins in Afghanistan

@monpacie1615 The Vietnam war was far worse than the Russians in Afghanistan the US weren't just facing insurgents they were fighting pitched battles with the North Vietnamese Army . The Russians left Afghanistan in 1988 the US went into Afghanistan in 2001 and the weapons the Mujadeen had in the 80's was no better than the Taliban had in 2001. The only advantage the Mujadeen had in the 80's was the US supplied stingers
