  2. Indeed, I get more of a liberal disposition from his views. As far as a conservative is concerned, any measure which can address the issue, including authoritarianism, is desirable.

  4.  @blugaledoh2669  There's nothing in conservative ideology, that would prevent the adoption of authoritarianism, if it serves the cause. Although, to be fair, most modern conservatives tend to be against big government, but I think that's only a reaction to the leftist takeover of institutions.
