One of the great benefits of roth iras and some other retirement accounts is that if you are below a certain income (depending on your filing status) you can get a tax credit called the "retirement savers credit". I will eventually make a video about that on my channel. In 2017 the Max credit was $2.000 dollars. Idk for 2018-19
