@Oneofakind123 I mean it's still business cause youtube is his business, he'll make tens of thousands of dollars from that video. But I will say one thing that may not relate to this telsa situation, but typically when you buy something for which you will take a deduction, the cost of the item is greater than the tax savings, so it typically only makes sense if one was planning to buy a given item anyway &/or the income that it'll produce will make up for the difference between cost of item and dollar for dollar tax savings. especially as it relates to less expensive alternatives. E.i if one has the choice of a $1,000 or a $500 item for business(and therefore will be deducted) and both items produce the same income $500 would make more since even though $1,000 would lower your taxes more(generally speaking). But there are more to consider, especially since the financial implications are based on a very large variety of factors some of which can't be known until years later. like if your graham his public image and/or brand may benefit in non-immediately apparent ways.

@imho7250 i honestly don't know. there's typically rules un place to stop the benefit of selling property to related parties under market value to evade taxes, but Id one could do that then one should do that. Perhaps sell to an unrelated party for $1, buy it back for $20, resell it for $40,000 as a
