@abraxasjinx5207 Crying is the natural way of releasing old suppressed emotions. You need to grieve the loss of the life you should have had. It is not fun to cry and grieve. It is painful. When there are no more tears to cry you will be free of the feelings that haunt you. You can move on in peace. Allow yourself to grieve. 🙋🏼♀️💖

I hope you will live the rest of your life in comfort and love. Please don't think less if yourself. It can and does happen to anybody. It happened to me too. 💝🫂

@Virtus555 AA did for me what I couldn't do for myself. I am grateful.

@christ3831 AA worked for me. I used to be in a repeating cycle too. I'd get over the hang over and a day or two later I was drinking again. The steps took away that compulsion. 🤷♀️ Best wishes sweetie. Try getting help. 💖🙋🏼♀️

@Virtus555 Because drug or alcohol addiction is a symptom of subconscious emotional pain. Those who don't have this pain don't have the same drive to continue drinking. Alcoholics are very unhappy people who are self medicating. They need to heal their pain if they want to give up their compulsion to drink. These people usually do not realize their drinking is not the same as other people. Their bodies learn to rely on it.

@Virtus555 I was answering your question re why can't some people drink moderately. In response to why people bash alcohol. It hasn't been my experience that alcoholics or anyone else is against alcohol. People who have lost loved ones in car accidents or alcoholism can be understandably anti-alcohol but the ordinary person does not care if others drink or not. 🤷♀️ Even alcoholics are not anti-alcohol. They know that other people can drink responsibly. They also know that they cannot. Who have you heard bashing alcohol ? I only know people who encourage drinking. 💖🙋🏼♀️
