  2. Assembly is also a poor language with regard to memory, 😹😹😹 it's the nature of computers. High level languages require a low level language. Because if that were not the case, then you're argument is that computers are poorly designed and should include a memory library.

  4. According to Wikipedia, rust was originally written in ocaml which was originally written in C, so in the end all languages derive from C. Regardless of how it's compiled now.

  5.  @johnforde7735  yes true, but doesn't change the fact that C was used in these compilers at some point. Although with your swift example, not a big fan of dealing with raw memory on that. For simple things it's just too complicated, but I get why
