The US Army has regiments too. Learned that in my deployment to Iraq. We were cross attached to a Calvary unit (2ACR) and that's what they call it and so we would use this terminology in our TF. And the BNs were called squadrons. It was really interesting. In fact our AFATDS even had this language when you would create the units in the software. If you designate Calvary, it would use the appropriate terms. Fascinating stuff actually.

There could also be a mistake if someone sent the wrong grid coordinates. The argument of a democracy and being held accounted for doesn’t really hold. I mean look at us in Iraq. Tell me who got in trouble for the illegal war? How many lies did our intelligence give us and how much did our government lie? It can happen to any democracy. Anything is truly possible. Now I honestly don’t think the probability of them doing it intentionally (Israel) is high. This is one thing I don’t miss about the army. Critical thinking is not pure and real. It’s more of following what the army tells you is critical thinking

The problem is the army is ran by a bunch old farts. Similar to a lot of civilian companies who also have problems of their own.

That's interesting about the DPICM. In Iraq I was expecting us to use those in our fire missions after the Mhadi militia uprisings. We only used illum, HE and copper. We learned a lot about them in snow hall and before we deployed to Kosovo we got some training on DPICM too. There's so much misinformation out there it's insane. The fact that they want to compare us to Russia. Literally in the balkans to this day civilians are dying because the soviets mined the shit out it and didn't keep records of it. Their shit sucks and no record keeping turns into a disaster. Our shit is much better and we even document much better. Man you wouldn't believe the amount of logging I had to do when I was in. Everything. What happened, what we did, serial numbers...etc

I was about to say for Apple devs (you also need a Mac for their other hardware not just iOS), you need a Mac. I don't know how people still use chrome. I used to use it some 10 years ago. Every few years I check it out to see if the memory and cpu usage has gone down. It's so sad that we have really fast machines now and Google can't fix their shit. Just like their YouTube app 😹😹😹 I have 64GB of Ram and I'm using about 32 in my day to day work as a mobile developer. If I were to use chrome, I think it will crush my machine 😹😹😹The argument is, well you have the memory so why not use it? When I need to spin up several simulators and emulators, that's when I need memory and Chrome is a hog. I used it for 1 day in a project I'm working on to capture some raw network requests. Other than that it stays out of my memory. 😹😹😹
