At this point, given that this operation is aimed at destroying another major city, I think we should form a coalition and issue an ultimatum to any force on the territory of Ukraine, stating that if any heavy weapons are used against civilians, we will deploy international peacekeepers in Ukraine to defend them, with the orders to engage, including with lethal weapons, any vehicle that is seen to have opened fire on civilians. How will the Kremlin react to an operation aimed at protecting civilians from possible attacks? That Russia would never attack civilians, after what its forces did in Mariupol, after all the civilian casualties in Ukraine? Well if Russia would not, why would it care they are defended, then? It's just impossible for them to seriously claim to be the victims in front of Харкiв. Or will they say that this is evil and that Russia would never defend civilians because they consider it illegal or immoral? Good luck twisting words, priests. I bet they'd say that the USA did worse in helping Israel. Fair enough. What about a coalition without the USA, then? This is Europe, after all.
