4:50 Don't be so sure that Russians don't resist this gazlighting anymore. Some liked it and amplified it from the beginning, others realized very quickly that it was bullshit and probably won't change their mind about it anymore. What most Russians have given up on is: 1) publicly expressing their disagreement while on Russian territory, because they are not really allowed to do so (they let loose much more abroad) 2) Trying to silence or contradict the bullshit talkers, because this bullshit come from the rich and they can't afford to fight it individually. So they tolerate hearing nonsense all the time, but *without necessarily believing it*. It's permanent psychological torture for them, but far from breaking them. This brutal dissociation between political bullshit discourse and rational thought keeps them away from politics, but does not convince them. It shut them up but didn't drive them crazy. The places where Russian propaganda works best are those where people know the least about Russia and don't even see why the Russian government has any interest in talking nonsense.
