It's good in games because it allows you to write simple rules that players can follow, or to optimise video games envines by avoiding the computation of interactions with objects that are "too far away" to count in any very meaningful way. But this is arbitrary, not a physical reality we observe. Lazar just makes a dramatic novel out of seemingly scientific images that make no sense. Imagine all we could learn by spending all this time studying real stuff. I gonna filter out "Lazar" 'cause this is going ridiculous.
