  1. But why do so many Russians accept it? I don't fall for the idea that they sincerely believe in propaganda. They've participated too much in it and seen too much of the outside world to believe in it anymore. Of course, it's dangerous for them to disobey, but it's no less dangerous to obey. How is it possible to accept so much submission? Does it only work because this madness is the last thing uniting them? But how can't they unite against the madness?
