Not just Russia with big parts of Asia and Europe, and more recently with Chechnya , Georgia, etc… The whole land of the USA is made by conquest. Similarly, the whole Russian land is some kind of colony made by conquerors. I have a much clearer philosophy for you, without Historical traps : is Putins' policy what most people want ? Obviously not !  If his policy was something people wanted, there would be no weapons involved and no war , duh. You simply don't make people happy at gunpoint. Putin lost his right to be happy now by doing what he does now to others. so he can go fuck himself, and it's only adequate to work on making sure he doesn't fuck with anyone without consent right now. Those who oppose him know what they want. Those who support him don't: they simply copy-paste their will from his will without any self-esteem or spontaneous thought, they repeat. Those who support him the most aren't even aware of what he does. If you ask them why they have to kill Ukrainians, they don't know, or they invoque crazy nonsense. Blind followers aren't citizens. Citizens are those who can make their opinion, not just get it from above. Well, there is an instantaneous excellent reason to let no political power to one man over thousands of millions , no matter the past and the futures. People suffer Russian occupation right now. What is happening isn't bad because of the past. It isn't bad because of imaginary futures. It is bad right now for billions, and we have means to make it better for for billions right now , even if it doesn't please those who don't know why they do it and those who perfectly know that they abuse but find convenient to pretend they don't. Russia isn't the issue. The issue is nobody stop the very few who use and abuse Russia for evil, and opponents fight their peons instead of them. Strike at the head ! Destroy this stupid fascination for dangerous individuals. Get rid of the mad frightening shepherd, and let the people face up to their responsibilities once again. You want a "precedent" ? Attack the emperor instead of the imperialist cattle, for once. Million of Russian children dream of this, not to take his place and do worse, but just to breathe.
