@LucasFernandez-fk8se uk is far colder than those states so ppl tend to keep the windows closed (understandable when its zero degrees outside). closed windows leads to mould.

@wintersking4290 no they didn't, they lent us money to fight the war and we only paid that off relatively recently.

@wintersking4290 I doubt the usa supplied three times the amount the soviets were making but you and the uk did supply them. I met an old bloke in a london pub who used to be one of the sailors delivering that sutff to the port of archangel, he shuddered at the memory of the cold. as for breaking the blockade and saving us from starvation, lol, the british navy was the 2nd biggest in the world at that point and more than enough for the germans, when the americans entered the battle of the atlantic the british admirals tried to advise them on tactics, especially the use of convoys, the americans ignored the lessons learned by the birts and suffered very badly, much to the joy of the germans who enjoyed the easy pickings like it was 1940-41 again
