@tinaunderhill5412 not so simple really, many people regard nationality and ethnicity as much the same thing. very few japanese people would regard the children of foreigners as japanese in any way other than being holders of a citizenship. cliff richard, joanna lumley and george orwell were all born in india and lived there until independence, i doubt they regarded themselves as indian.

@krashd actually the english ARE the ancient britons, anglo saxon dna only makes up around 20% of most english ppl's dna. and there is lots of foreign blood in the welsh, scots too

what a toxic racist person this sri lankan guy is, his family came as colonists the uk, a country where the natives are white and have been for thousands of years, he joins an organisation, the bbc, created by white people, is given a high ranking position there at the expense of one of the said natives and then complains that he is surrounded by the native people. what an arrogant, racist tosser.
