  2. yep utter nonsense, 50 years ago NH had become a slum district and it was one of the areas where black people had been able with the help of dodgy landlords like Rachman to rent a flat. The area was originally a very posh area built in the 1850s where rich white ppl lived. After the war partly due to high property taxes the toffs left and the big houses were divided up and the blacks started coming to rent them but they were only ever a small minority there.

  20. Traffic lights were first introduced in December 1868 on Parliament Square in London to reduce the need for police officers to control traffic. the black guy u mention was responsible for just one of hundreds if not thousands of patents, basically tweaks, to the original concept.
