  1. do they teach you in your schools about the how the irish colonised the land of the picts, snuffing out their language and culture and turning it into scotland (the scoti being irish people)? do they teach you about the long centuries of irish slavers raiding british coasts abducting british people like saint patrick into slavery? perhaps i shd explain to a former colleague of mine who was blown up by the ira in a pub in birmingham when he was a teenager and civilian all about the abuse his ancestors put the irish through..

  12.  @arthurgoodness7865  yes most likely there were members of the british military who were working with the UVF or who were simply UVF members in their own right who carried out or assisted with the attacks. However this has never been proved and there is no suggestion this was official british policy. as for whether they were heroes, no they were scum like the IRA.

  14. they got good at is because despite the ira's claims they were fighting a war the british army very rarely were attempting to just kill ira men. they were treated largely as civilians not enemy combatants.
