  1. Another great exploration of transit systems from you Mike. I rode the Seattle monorail during my 1989 US/Canada tour but the other two systems you show are new to me. I've always wondered about how people get to the top of the Gateway Arch and now I know. I had a great chuckle when you finished up having a meal instead of just coffee to get your change for the Morgantown PRT. Quite an interesting concept this PRT. Pity about the rough riding though. Someone must have said; "Hey! Here comes this Downie Guy...and he's just eaten. Let's pump up the tyres....." I'm sure you can guess the rest. I do hope that tourists to the Gateway Arch fast before getting into one of those rotating cell lifts. Could be embarrassing if someone had a nervous moment enroute. Now while you were in Seattle, I do hope you sampled the waterfront streetcar which comes from my hometown, Melbourne. Quite a few W2 Class Cars from Melbourne have ended up in American Cities, either operative or static museum exhibits. Looking forward to whatever surprises you have for us next week.
