  1. Yeah, Mike, I'm a bit slow replying to this one, but, hey! You hit the jackpot with this experience. Back last century (1984 to be precise), I travelled on the parallel road through this area enroute to Mount Egmont and was lucky enough to photograph a Stratford bound freight train. You and Seb got the real Kiwi experience with this trip. Great country, genuine people along the way and friendly animals too! This one is on my bucket list for my next trip to New Zealand.
