  1. Love the fact that you scooted through 7 States in one journey. The best I did back in '95 was five..... and the north west corner of Connecticut was part of that trip. Looks like the best bit of yours was right at the end....The Great Hall of Washington Union Station. Looks like you had great value and healthy options in the cafe car. Looking forward to your next Amtrak adventure. Boy oh boy! Florida to Alaska! That will be some trip. Cheers from Michael in Melbourne.
