  1. G'day Mike from your namesake downunder in now free Melbourne. Absolutely love this first episode of your big trip across your homeland. Arrived on my laptop today (Sun.13th Feb.) just in time for my birthday on Wednesday next. Probably the best birthday present you could give me, given the physical distance apart. I simply fell off my seat with mirth when I saw you get a postcard from Dildo off to your mum. Obviously your folks have a great sense of humour. I had no idea there was a place of that name anywhere in the world, let alone in a place like Newfoundland. I do hope you weren't under the weather after all that wine tasting, although I'm sure the level of alcohol must have been low or you would have had to walk (stagger) back to your accommodation rather than drive. TV support crews do come in handy at times like this, eh! Now here's something for a laugh for you. Angus (from the Tramway/Trolley Bus Museum) sent me a Christmas Card that duly arrived in my mailbox last Tuesday (8th Feb.) Boy, was that carrier pigeon tired (and stressed from having to avoid the skies around Tonga on the way). THE MAIL MUST GET THROUGH. Enough from me this week.
