Mike, you are maturing like wine with this presentation of an experience that was in its infancy when I was in the Napa Valley towards the end of my 1989 US/Canada trip. Great that you had a food and wine raconteur to accompany you and together you presented some of life's finer joys. Riding on an open platform at the end of a train sipping wine is an experience that can be enjoyed in a few other places as well. Quite a number of Tourist Railways worldwide now have wine and dine experiences and, yes, there are several within hours of where I live. Love that AG1 sponsored you on this trip and, as their product is Kiwi in origin, I wonder if they will combine with Air New Zealand to sponsor you (and a friend) to come downunder to experience New Zealand (and Australian) wines and fine dining (including on trains).
