The flags are marked, this is where people expect to be the safe area, if some retard is doing some dumb shit over the rip curls over there and someone drowns on the safe flagged area because the lifeguard was too busy running towards the area where he shouldnt even supposed to be, thats a big fuckin problem. You want to complain? Take it to the council or pay more taxes. The lifeguard did the right thing, and his employer also did the right thing, not because the lifeguard saved someones life, but he left his post.

A lot more vulnerable swimmers are swimming in the safe zone, thats why theyre there because they think its safe, if some idiot is swimming away from the flags then hes taking his own risk, not to mention there is even a sign there. That lifeguard is lucky that no one else died in the station hes supposed to be guarding while he ran way over there when some idiot is doing backflips.

  17. I don't think you understand why he got fired. He got fired because if someone drowned in the zone hes supposed to be guarding and he wasnt there because he was saving someone else, we are talking millions of dollars of liability. He is basically a financial risk keeping him employed.

The reason there is a lifeguard there is to make it safe for them to use the beach, now you cant pay 1000 lifeguards to stretch along the whole coast, so you put flags on the safe zone area where lifeguards can watch over you, literally anything not within the flags is really off limits but you cant stop people from swimming where they want to, so thats why you put a sign here saying swim at your own risk.

First of all, if you earn 90k a year, you are in significant advantage of being happier than people struggling financially. This is just common sense, you dont have to be a genius to figure this out.
