but statistically speaking, Tesla autopilot is 4x safer than a Tesla with a human driver. So this comment makes no sense.

@alanpengo3335 humans can also fail, a sleep deprived or emotionally distraught human is much more dangerous on the road, and the probability of that human crashing is much higher that an autonomous driving car, and have I also mentioned about fail safes? Yeah your car doesn't just stop because of a random chip failing. Multiple things have to happen.

@alanpengo3335 but your opinion is not justified, statistically or logically. If I add 1+1 on a calculator 99.999999% of the time it will give me = 2, and only in that very rare occurrence it either loses power or malfunction would it be a problem. But Tesla's are smarter than a calculator, although its more complex it has has a lot of fail safes. Trust me when I say this, in the very near future, driving a non-autonomous vehicle would be illegal in public roads, you can probably one and drive it privately, like a private track, simply because of how dangerous they are. You will live to see this day. do not worry.

@roberttynski6850 they wont show you that of course lmao, for very good reasons, they got the footage from one of the bystanders phone who is recording, but they only showed when the officer was pushed, but they didnt show when the officer was attacking the suspect while he was down. go figure.

@elmobently6413 it's not blind faith it's just facts and statistics. I don't think you have any idea how much computation is already embedded in our lives to protect us or things we love. It seems like you just came out of the cave after 50 years of sleep. We have stopped relying on humans to do the important things a very long time ago my guy.

Lets get this clear, the guy was already having an episode in their own home, meaning this is the worst time to be around them, and these officers just casually walks in. If they were more vigilant they could have avoided all this, I saw him running from a mile away, what if he had a knife, I mean you step into his own house.
