  6. Misanthropic Musings is not sure if you’ve noticed, btc is no where close to being popular, in fact more than 99% of the population own any crypto. Peter Lynch said it best: buy assets that people think are controversial because those will be undervalued. Use reason not arbitrary opinions. The reason bitcoin is such a high price but very little adoption yet is because of people in the know. You will use crypto in the future whether you like it or not, your only real decision is should you buy them today or 10 years later.

This is very similar to the criticisms when the internet first launched. i.e. its too slow, not enough people use it, businesses wont use it, its a niche market, but people like Bezos saw right through it, I dont expect everyone to have the same foresight. Sure, a lot of people definitely were attracted to bitcoin because of the investment returns (and why wouldnt they?), whether or not bitcoin is viewed as a trading vehicle is completely IRRELEVANT to its success, so, if youre gonna use this as your premise on why bitcoin wont succeed then you have to think harder. its very hard to entertain such comments, simply because youre looking at the past.

  9.  @TheMystery51  Yeah but he didnt take into account that in 50 years, you will not just put 10k in, you might be putting 10k in every year for 50 years in the S & P, you will literally be a multi millionaire if you did this.

  15. Most of the arguments you highlighted against bitcoin are easily addressed. People have doubted bitcoin since it was 10 cents, $10, $10,000 and even $20,000 and they will doubt it even when it reached 1 million. No one said disruption will be instant, it will all makes sense hindsight.
