Every time Joe laughs in this interview, he cries inside.

@ryanbarthel5352 well you're a downer aint ya laddy. bit of a technophobe are we. So, youre basically saying, in order to have the technology, we first need the technology, great scotts!

Madara Uchiwa he’s not an inventor dummy, he’s an engineer and a. Entrepreneur were you living under a rock for the last 20 years?
2
@teodormacovei4648 I mean using your logic, nobody is an inventor except a handful few who was born thousands of years ago, because all of them used knowledge and tech that was discovered by someone else. Every heard the phrase in science "standing in the shoulders of giants?"

I think 10 years is when they reach one of their long term milestone

@ryanbarthel5352 wake up, we are already using this type of technology to help people with motor difficulties. We have been so for decades now, do some research. You clearly dont see Elons master plan. You think hes new to the enterpreneur game? He will first cure mental diseases which is what will get him the policies he needs, it also makes the company profitable while keeping an eye on the end goal. This is the same strategy he used with Tesla. The path to where neutalink needs to go is pretty clear. You just have a limited imagination/comprehension to see it

@ryanbarthel5352 Well thats too bad you are lecturing a Neuroscience student on whats possible in the brain. You clearly dont even understand the underlying technology, and that technology is gathering DATA. Whatever we dont know, we will now know. With enough data it will be able to correlate underlying problems and functions of lets say a slice of the cortex that we didnt know previously. The real issue of neural lace is problems we wont foresee until the next 100 or 200 years, but figuring out how the brain operates certainly is not one of those problems. Do you know why we know more about the entire universe than we know the human brain? Because of human rights. We cant experiment on people. If we did, we would know a heck of a lot more. This is the next best thing. The fact that your main argument is we dont have the technology yet to have the technology is pretty absurd if you listen to yourself say it. Im sorry to say but you are out of your league in this conversation and out of your paycheck.
1
@ryanbarthel5352 Like I said, out of your league, out of your paycheck. You clearly have no idea how little your arguments make any sense.
1
@ryanbarthel5352 you keep talking about policies when I have clearly told you the policies for neuralink are currently ALREADY in place for surgery on people with mental disabilities. what your displaying is beyond ignorance at this point, you basically turned into a stupid child.
1
@ryanbarthel5352 Yes, and it will be approved because what they want to do with the brain has already been done and approved from other companies who have also done brain implants. Ofcourse there is a process, no one said they will be approved the moment they request it, thats absurd, there will be checks in place from different departments like DOH and making sure what theyre doing is safe. Your level of stupidity is actually amazing.
1
@ryanbarthel5352 Still you. Look you seem to have problems with comprehension and general language, I think I've given you more time than you deserve. take the L and go home with it. Good luck with your life.
1
@ryanbarthel5352 take the L, this is beyond your comprehension, technically and neurologically. move on.

Madara Uchiwa His degree, has nothing to do with his role at work. He has said numerous times in his interviews, he does more of engineering than actual CEO duties, and that he is really more of an engineer in his companies. You want to argue job roles in his own company? Yea, youre out of luck m8. Hes an inventor as much as Steve Jobs invented the iPhone pretty much.
