Buddhism, Muslim, Christians, have fasting as part of their practice, yet thats the only thing they have in common, its not that fasting came from religious means, but its a practice that has survived the millennia because people for thousands of years understood its benefits. You should try it you fat slob.

  4. That is not really the same thing. Sure, but the difference between fasting as a choice as opposed to being poor, is that you dont get quality meals in the latter. that is the difference. If you are fasting but then when its time to eat you just shove your face with noodles, white bread and other garbage or whatever is just available for a poor person, instead of getting the right vitamins, macronutrients, fats, etc when its time to eat.
