Then why was the running backwards for 5 rounds? Jon controlled the Octagon and scored some take downs, and also dominated the most important rounds, 4 and 5.

Jon controlled the Octagon for 5 rounds, did 3 take downs and Reyes was on the back-foot pretty much the whole fight. If you think the judges are just gonna hand over the belt like that then you're out of your mind.

@pnw58 LOL you clearly dont know what "backfoot" means. You need to rewatch the Mayweather fights and see how he controls the center of the ring, the same way Jon controls the center of the octagon. Fuckin casual.

@Tupac Nation The last round is the more important round you dumbass. This is basics. If its a close fight and someone dominated round 1 vs someone dominating round 5, the winner will always be the one who dominated the last round. The UFC judges have always scored like this since the first fights. The rounds are not equal. The judges will always give a bias to the last round. for very obvious reasons: it doesnt matter how good you are at the start, the end is all that matters because that determines the actual totality of the fight i.e. it reflects how much damage you have taken, how gassed you are, and if you actually are a championship material.

@joliearanda6481 lol Jones was right in the middle of the octagon. Reyes was the one running at the end of round 5.

@joliearanda6481 You kids have very selective memory. Reyes was running backwards 100% of the time for the whole 25 minutes lol. Watch the fight again, and tell me im wrong.
