@dave smith 100% correct! He is being setup to “save” her. My ex did this to me, aggressively flirting with strange random impulsive type of men and then I was setup to “save” her from sleeping with them. She wouldn’t be brushing those men off saying I’ve “got a boyfriend” in a monotone disinterested way! All the time she would look for my reaction and horror.
