As soon as relations begun with the last one the ‘breakup’ trope was being thrown around for the most trivial of things eg. Not trying for a baby within months of starting. Failure to personalise a complement to a dress. Joking that i need a photo taken for all of my girls. Each time i was expected to grovel and apologise to her but the game got old really quickly.

A term I hear a lot from women a couple of years into their relationships and often a couple of children too, is that they refer to their lover as their ‘other half’. This is often said in a kind of tiresome sigh as if to indicate that codependency has set in. They often seem very interested in the specifics as to what you do for a living. As if they were seeking out a beta male provider type to monkey branch to.

@truthseekertruthspeaker5240 Yes it’s a direct reference to what level of material benefit maybe in your general lifestyle! I’m not sure that Chad or Tyrone gets asked this in quite such a loaded way but I could be wrong. I’ve noticed in many bars and gyms there are men who do little but scowl and prop up the bar in a slouch who just get a slew of fillies making a beeline for them without any need for ‘game.’

They say that women ask for 70% of divorces but i wonder out of the 30% of men who ask for them were driven to asking through abuse from the woman ie silent treatment, withdrawing affection etc…. Then play into her need for victimhood!

My ex girlfriend attacked me on several occassions while i was asleep over very trivial things that wouldn’t offend most women. Hard shoves turned into the final straw of having her heal stabbed into my backside while i was asleep. She always had to have her ‘punishments’.

Men and women have evolved to complement each other and not compete with each other and that is the reason I believe Sean Connery did not enjoy games of golf with women. Unfortunately in modern society men and women are pitted in competition with each other with the shaming language that goes with it.
