  2. I can definitely see the USA having less influence in the world if he’s true to his words to Putin. All this going on about how Europe don’t spend on defence is nonsense. Would America like Europe to be really heavily armed and be a threat to Russia, and the US as a result have to spend even more on defence or be left behind. Would they really like Britain or France’s militaries to rival what they had when the states fought them in colonial times? Does the average American really buy Trump’s ‘there’s an Ocean between us”. When America is technically linked by land/ice in the North of the country to Russia.
