  1. But our military is A+. Don't get me wrong, we do spend too much on it, but better than not enough. Hence why we have existed for 240 years and never been over thrown or occupied. Our geography doesn't hurt, but really who wants to mess with our military? Most European countries have been overthrown or occupied at some point or another. Even great powers like France. Having a strong military is important.

  3. If nothing else, we should utilize trains for freight more than we do. Way cheaper and more efficient than trucking. Ever wonder why consumer products are getting more and more expensive? Fuel is expensive. Trucking freight costs much more than trains.
