Trump absolutely is center right at most. They hate him because he calls them out. RFK Jr is center left and they hate him too for the same reasons. Both have been absolutely smeared because they criticize powerful people and institutions, and even more important, they are usually right. Trump gets it even worse because he is more brash about it, and of course because he is the former President and still has a significant amount of influence over millions of people.
