  1. There is a reason the Colt .45 was called the "great equalizer". Imagine if nobody had guns, not even the bad guys. So when a bad guy breaks into little old Granny's house, who do you think wins that fight? Granny only has a chance if she is armed. A gun, at the very least, puts you on equal footing with the bad guys, hence why gun rights must be protected.
