  1. There's no proof for lots of things, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. There is no proof Adolf Hitler existed because his body was never retrieved. There are writings in history books, and film footage of a man people claim was Hitler, but how do we know it wasn't an actor? There is no proof that ancient Egyptians built the pyramids, it could have been aliens. There is no proof that anything exists beyond our Solar System, because no man, or probe has ever been there...we could be looking at simulations on a giant transparent screen when we think we are looking at distant stars. In fact, there is no proof we actually materially exist and are not a simulation ourselves. Now I'm not saying that proves there is a God, but lack of proof doesn't automatically discount it, either.
