I still think the middle us the worst. If you are poor, you get subsidized. If you are rich, you're rich, you can afford whatever. If you're in the middle, you pay full price for everything, but barely have enough to do so.

That was just kind of normal life back then. We had a house rather than an apartment, but it was very modest. Eventually we got a second car for my mom so my grandparents didn't have to drive us everywhere when my dad was working ridiculous hours and going to college at night, but the second car was an old clunker my dad bought off a friend at work. I didn't have many toys, but what I had I cherished and took care of. We only took a vacation if we could stay with relatives and get cheap transportation. But it was pretty normal and I enjoyed my childhood. It made me learn to value little things more.

When other kids were making spaceships and other fun things out of such boxes, I made myself an office because I wanted to be like my dad and have an office! Needless to say, now I am the old dad and I work at a desk in an office and it's not nearly as glorious as I once used to make believe...and I find my boys doing the same thing now. I'm like, nah, you don't want to be an accountant like dad, it's very boring! 😂

I had two kids, first one at 39, second at 43. Yes, men in general have no limit, though an individual can suffer male reproductive issues, there are indeed men that have fathered children in their 80's. Although I'd say that's rather extreme and dare I say selfish as one probably won't be around for much of their life if they have them at that age. Your cutoff age there is pretty reasonable. That's about where I pegged it for myself when I was younger. My cousin stretched the limit a bit and had one at 49, but what's funny about that is he already had 3 others that were grown adults already and his 4th child is only a year older than his grandson 😂

That's how a real man talks. These fake macho bros on YouTube and such are not real men they are narcissistic little children. You sir, are a real man, who not only served their country, but proudly sacrifice for their child. Many lesser men disappear and let someone else raise their child.
