  1. You don't need a unit conversion table if you use just one system of units. Why would I care how far a kilometer is? I measure in miles because that's how it's done here. And it is not that hard to remember that a mile is 5,280 feet or 1,760 yards if you have a brain. The metric system just appears to be for simpletons.
