I am religious and I don't believe that. In fact, there are many theologians who don't believe that either. Belief in a higher power and belief in life on other planets is not mutually exclusive. In fact, if you believe in a higher power, and that higher power created intelligent life, you have to believe that it would have been a massive waste of time to create something as huge as the universe and only create life on one tiny rock.
