  1. A guy I know was born in Puerto Rico, grew up in New York, and still has ties to Puerto Rico, has family there and visits there often still. I asked him about the attitude of Puerto Ricans in terms of becoming a state, and the fact that they vote it down every time it comes to referendum vote. He said it's the older generation that wants to stay separate. His opinion is that they will die off and the younger generation all wants statehood and it will happen in 20 years. Yes this is one man's opinion, but one which is much more familiar with the situation than anyone else I know.

  2. ​ @Alexander-James Did you see the competition? It wasn't dyed in the wool hard core Trump fanboys and right wing boogeymen that did it. It was the loads of Democrats, minority men, and other left leaning people out there that couldn't bring themselves to vote for arguably one of the worst candidates either party has put up in a century. So they voted for Trump too, or they didn't vote at all. You can't blame anyone other than the good ol Democrat Party itself for this one.

  9. Nobody's bringing back manufacturing. We are a post manufacturing level country now, that's just a hard fact of where the United States stands in terms of economic power. Are such claims just lip service to the blue collar workers of the country? Sure. However you can't deny the fact the job numbers in general grew under the Trump administration and shrunk under the Biden administration. Regardless of one's opinion on Trump, that's another fact that can't be denied or poo-pooed just because you don't like the man. What do I think of Trump? Well, he's blunt, brash, can be hilarious at times and a total ass at times. But you have to ask yourself this. Who else is going to do the job? Harris? Hell no. Who else? Seriously look at the leadership in this country and take a long hard think about it. There are not many options.

  10. I hear a lot of Albertans that say they would like to secede from Canada and join the United States. As for the rest of the country? Probably not. Quebec doesn't even want to be part of Canada, let alone another country that isn't France. Alberta is like the Texas of the North.

  11. France has never opposed the United States in wartime ever in history. And I don't think they ever will. Marcon is full of hot air. But then again so is Trump. We aren't going to annex Greenland. It's just crazy talk and that's the kind of stuff Trump does just to rile people up. He's the world's biggest troll, and his opposition falls for it every time.
