  1. Why is there anything instead of nothing? Because there is something, therefore it is impossible for there to be nothing. If something can exist, it will, and it does. Complete nothingness is impossible, therefore, the universe came from something else which itself is either infinite or came from an infinite source somewhere down the line, or the universe itself is infinite and the big bang was just the "reboot" phase in an infinite loop.
