  1. If you ever find yourself in Canada and get a blinking green light, don't panic...it just means the same thing as a left green arrow. When the green stops blinking, it is no longer clear to go left as opposing traffic gets their green. These are mostly phased out in favour of the arrows, but there are still some kicking around southern Ontario.
