  3.  @barteksz932  all nations suffer. Germany had to be dragged by its feet to essentially have their entire industry get crippled for the sake of sanctioning Russia. Hungary is trying to play both sides, pulling a Serbia without considering that most of its supposed allies have already picked a side. Also, it is a genocide. Ukrainians arent merely being conquered, they are being killed, massacred and displaced, and their homes are being "russified", As russia sends over its people to take over homes. If russification isnt the clearest example of genocide then i do not know what is.

  4. Im so fucking tired of people accusing the EU of being authoritarian because of measures like these. Dont like the EU, then leave. You shouldnt be an active obstruction and opponent of EU on every level then turn around and take EU funding, funding that is meant to be allocated to projects and people in need.

The reason Hungary and poland shits on the EU whilst taking EU money is because thats what their house of cards is built on. taking handouts, then shitting on the hand that gives.

  6.  @redhammer9910  except thats not true. you are still a sovereign nation. in the same way that you are still a sovereign autonomous person when you join a club house. You are free to leave at any moment, and dont be surprised if member benefits are no longer provided to you if you repeatedly break the rules. The EU is not totalitarian, because ultimately its optional to join. even if the EU demanded that every person wears purple on the 5th of may, it would still be optional to do so, because you can leave. Besides, we've already seen what happens with countries that leave the EU, aka the UK, and how rather than become "more sovereign" they are controlled even more by the EU and the US, aka their biggest trading partners, because rather than be a member of the club they are now an outside party, forced to comply from the outside if they want to trade.
