@EmmaWithoutOrgans because of lobbyists and the fact that nationalists would struggle to win elections without allying with other right wing parties, especially since left wing parties arent going to work together with them.

less countries have right wing governments than previously, but its important to look at the actual politics and percentages. in sweden a right wing coalition eeked out a victory but only because they relied heavily on the populist boost of the swedish democrats. come next election the swedish democrats might sink back down again, since their momentum was basically bought and stolen by the corporate right wing parties.
