@ravigopinathan2835 not just less freedom. barely any freedom. In the US you can make a career as a figure critical of the government or politicians or what-have-you. you can be a comedian or a solo political commentator without worrying about legal reprecussion. in china your population score falls if you step out of line until you arent even allowed on the bus anymore. just look up xu Xiaodong. Democracy is better in that it allows everyone to say how they truly feel, whereas you make the claim "many chinese support their government" when in reality we know they arent allowed not to. every country wants to believe its the best, thats true, but there is a reason why almost 150k chinese people moved to the US in 2018.

the difference is that denmark and each individual european country isnt actively suppressing the number of babies allowed. we're also not playing around with billions of lives, meaning that a 15% drop in population number in denmark isnt quite as bad as a 15% population drop in china or japan.
